How Large Is QSG, and Why Is Its Public Footprint Limited?

QSG's operations span research and trading, data, and engineering, but the firm does not publish a headcount or public roster. LinkedIn and similar public sources materially understate the scale of the firm and should not be treated as reliable measures of its size.

This limited public footprint is deliberate. QSG’s confidentiality policies generally do not permit traders to identify their relationship with the firm publicly, and QSG does not publicize most of its other advisory, commercial, or professional relationships.

In quantitative trading, small disclosures about personnel, markets, technology, systems, and business relationships can collectively reveal meaningful information about how a firm operates. Limiting unnecessary disclosure helps protect QSG’s proprietary research, strategy development, systems, live trading activity, and commercial relationships, while respecting the privacy of the people and organizations with whom QSG works.
